121 Years · 4 Generations · One Vision
Where it all started
In 1905, the foundation of our optical legacy was laid — a journey rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and vision.
From vintage values to modern thinking
Carrying the vision forward, Praduman Narayan Shah strengthened the foundation of Ashok Optical, Patna.
This phase represented a smooth transition—where traditional values met evolving optical practices, preparing the legacy for future generations.
A family journey grows
With time, dedication turned into generations.
The journey expanded under the guidance of:
In 1963, Ashok Optical, Ranchi was established—marking a major milestone in the family’s expanding optical legacy.

The birth of Nayan Sukh Optician
In 1990, beside Santivita Hospital, Ranchi, Nayan Sukh Optician was born.
With just a 300 sq. ft. shop, this was not an expansion—it was a bold new beginning.
Mr. Ratan Kumar Gupta stepped away from the family business to build something of his own.
There was no inheritance, no backing—only experience, honesty, and unwavering faith in hard work.
Care before commerce
Believing that true trust is built through care,
in 1995, a visionary step was taken—the introduction of the first OPD clinic.
The idea was simple yet powerful:
When a doctor treats with integrity, the patient feels confident, satisfied, and safe.
From optical to eye care
With growing trust came greater responsibility.
In 2000, Nayan Sukh Care was established—an integrated vision of optical services and an eye hospital with 7 beds.
Under the guidance of Dr. Malay Verma, the hospital journey truly began.
Expanding Thoughtfully
“In2004,Nayan Jyoti Opticalopened nearPlaza Chowk, Ranchi.
